Our values flow out of three basic principles: grace, truth, and love.

Grace-  You can belong to God, regardless of what you have done or have not done. We believe that there is nothing that we need to do in order to earn a relationship with God. Not only do we not need to earn this grace, God gives it to us despite anything bad that we have done. Jesus paid the penalty for all sin by his death and resurrection so that we could be adopted into the family of God.

Truth-We believe that God has revealed his truth to us through the Bible. We believe that the Bible is founded in history, that it gives us a framework for life and salvation that benefits us and everyone around us.

Love-Because God loves us, we love others. When Christians bring the love of Jesus into every relationship, the world changes. God places this love in each of his

Our Worship Services

If you’re searching for a local church in the Bad Axe area where you can connect more deeply to faith, fellowship, and community, we warmly welcome you among us. Our services use the historic and timely liturgies of the church and include prayer, singing, dynamic Bible preaching, and communion. Come as you are. Don’t worry about how you dress: our gatherings are relaxed and include people in suits as well as casual attire.

Parking

We are located in Bad Axe, the heart of Michigan’s thumb, just off N Van Dyke Road, with entrances to our lobby on both W Irwin St. and W Butler St. From both streets, you can access our parking lot. If you’re coming into the entrance on Irwin Street, you’ll find our sanctuary to the left and office spaces to the right. Straight ahead, you’ll find restrooms. If you’re coming in off Butler, you’ll want to head through the entrance marked Office & Sanctuary. You would find the sanctuary to the right, restrooms straight ahead on the lefthand side, and offices straight ahead and to the left.

Childcare

During the service, you can make use of our nursery, located in the office wing of our church. Young kids can play while you watch the service live on TV. Children age 4 and up are welcome to attend Sunday School during the Bible study hour at 9:30 am.
